The Game World Trilogy
If you read books and like fantasy, you should know there is an Indian fantasy writer too! His name is Samit Basu and he has penned his own Fantasy Series- known as The Game World Trilogy. His books combine Indian elements along with the usual stereotypes associated with the fantasy genre- numerous races, warring kingdoms and a dark lord who is not so Dark! The book starts with a prologue featuring a chimaera named Nimbu Paani! There is a desert called Al-u-Gobi, a heroine named Maya, races like asurs, rakshashas, jinns, etc. The first book was called "The Simoqin Prophecy", the second is named "The Manticore's Secret" and the final one which released recently is called "The Unwaba Revelations". The plot is full of twists and turns and you'll never know who are the good guys and bad guys until the very end! So go out to your favourite book store and get yourself a copy- today!
