Russian tanks enter South Ossetia

Doesn't that remind you of something? The last time I read anything about "Russian tanks" was in the history books, when they entered Warsaw at the end of WWII, never to leave until 1989. Read the news item here

The South Ossetians may have a sense of relief that Russia is now coming to their aid, but I feel all they are doing is running from one master to another. Reminds me a bit of Kashmir, which I've always felt should be independent of both India and Pakis.
